An alleged thief in New York City might have sunk himself by taking a picture with the wrong camera.
The suspect was riding the L training in Brooklyn on June 2 at about 2 a.m., the New York City Police Department told LawNewz.com. During a stop, he allegedly snatched an iPhone from a woman’s hand, and ran off the train. No injuries were reported, but no one knows where he might have gone.
Sounds like a basic, unsolved theft. Except a shirtless selfie of this a guy later wound up in the victim’s iCloud account.
Police want help in identifying him. He’s said to be “[in his] 20’s, 5’7″ tall, approximately 160 lbs., last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and green camouflage pants.
